What is Always There For You?

Always There For You is a free mobile app designed to help families coordinate care for their loved ones. It brings together family members and caregivers into a shared "Family Circle" where they can communicate, schedule care events, manage care requests, and keep track of important contacts.

How do I create a Family Circle?

To create a Family Circle:

  1. Open the app and navigate to the Circle tab
  2. Tap "Create Circle"
  3. Enter a name for your circle and add details about your loved one
  4. Share the invite code with family members so they can join
How do I join an existing Family Circle?

If a family member has already created a Circle, ask them for the invite code. Then:

  1. Open the app and navigate to the Circle tab
  2. Tap "Join Circle"
  3. Enter the invite code provided by your family member
  4. Select your role in the Circle (Angel/Caregiver or Loved One)
What are the different roles in a Family Circle?

There are two main roles:

  • Loved One: The person receiving care. They have a simplified interface for requesting help, viewing their schedule, and communicating with their Circle.
  • Angel: A caregiver or family member who provides support. Angels can create and volunteer for care events, respond to care requests, and coordinate with other Circle members.
How do care requests work?

Care requests allow anyone in the Circle to flag a need. For example, a Loved One can request help with groceries, or an Angel can note that a prescription needs to be picked up. Care requests include priority levels, preferred dates and times, and can be converted into calendar events once someone volunteers to help.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is stored securely using Supabase with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. We do not sell your data, and your information is only shared within your Family Circle. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time:

  1. Go to the More tab in the app
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion

Your personal data will be removed from our servers within 30 days of account deletion.

Can I be in more than one Family Circle?

Yes. You can belong to multiple Family Circles if you are caring for or coordinating care for more than one person. You can switch between Circles using the Circle switcher in the app.

Is the app free?

Yes, Always There For You is completely free to use. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or hidden costs.

What devices are supported?

Always There For You is currently available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17.0 or later. We are exploring additional platforms for the future.
